This Monday saw the official presentation of our prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development and to say we were thrilled would be an understatement! We were honoured to welcome the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, Colonel Sir Edward Bolitho, Lady Bolitho, The High Sheriff of Cornwall, Deputy Lord Lieutenants, Councillor Pauline Giles (Chair of Cornwall Council) along with many of our nearest and dearest fellow B Corps and colleagues. We were also delighted to be supported by our friends at Wildlife Botanicals who provided refreshing drinks and Roddas, who provided traditional Cornish Cream Teas!
The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 58th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
We are absolutely delighted to receive this highly prestigious award.
We are the first organic skincare brand and training provider of Touch Therapy Training for those living with cancer and other long-term health issues to win this particular award. It is an incredible accolade!
The Made for Life team has always been very proud of what we have achieved - both in terms of looking after the planet and people’s well-being. This award proves that the King’s Award is inclusive and that you don’t have to be huge in number to be great and change lives….for the better.
Following the formal presentation and acceptance speeches, our guests were treated to a tour of the Made for Life lab and learnt how the 100% organic Made for Life products are produced.
Thank you so much for being part of our journey, for believing in and supporting Made for Life Organics in our quest to make the world a happier and healthier place.
Sent with hugs and our warmest festive wishes.
