We are over the moon to share the news that Made for Life Organics has been awarded a highly prestigious 2024 King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. We are the first organic skincare brand to win a King’s Award in this category. The Award recognised our absolute commitment to sustainable practice via our ethical formulations, supply chain and our achievement in opening doors to people living with cancer and other life limiting health issues via our training programme in Touch Therapy and Tea & Therapy™ Days.
Why is this such an Achievement?
In a nutshell, The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK. The Awards were first established in 1965 and since then over 7,000 companies have achieved the Award. 2024 marks the second year of The King’s Awards for Enterprise, reflecting His Majesty the King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses.
This year 252 businesses were recognised for their contribution to International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (through Social Mobility). A total of 257 Awards were made:
- 161 Awards for International Trade
- 59 Awards for Innovation
- 29 Awards for Sustainable Development (including us!)
